DynamoDB

A fully managed NoSQL database you use through AWS API calls.

Think of it as: A giant labelled locker wall where you fetch lockers by their exact key.

More detail

There’s no server and no connection to open. Every read and write (GetItem, PutItem, Query…) is an HTTPS call to a public AWS endpoint, and IAM approves each one. Items are found by their key, so you design tables around how you’ll read them.
